Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

Anyone else applied to AGNP-PC? Are they interviewing this year?

Any post-master's or DNP plus post-master's applicants lurking here? I was told DNP faculty usually don't start contacting applicants until after the first of the year to set up phone interviews.

Hey y'all! I am a little late to the thread! I applied to Vandy's WHNP 2019 program. I am a RN II at MUSC here is Charleston, SC. I work on the Antepartum unit. It will be 3 years in May of 2019. I have a BA in Psych from Winthrop University with a GPA of 3.51 and an ABSN from MUSC with a GPA of 3.76. I only applied to Vandy. I also attended the open house. Turned in my application November 3rd. Counting down to February. It is giving me major anxiety.

has anyone heard anything for prespecialty PNP?

Sadly, not yet. I applied for the prespecialty psych on the first day and the wait is nerve-racking.

Anyone know if decisions will be released around the same time as previous years (Feb 14) or are they still planning on late January/early Feb that someone mentioned a few weeks ago on this thread?

Still haven't heard anything for prespecialty psych here either. Hmm I womder if that's bad news :(

If prespecialty FNP applicants do not get interviewed, do we wait until February for admissions decisions? As in that's the next time we should expect any contact?
