The wait to hear about interviews for PMHNP is brutal...

I submitted my application by the priority deadline. On the application, the status says "submitted." What does your app status say if you've been told that it is under faculty review?

I applied for the post-masters FNP certificate.

I was emailed by the Assistant Dean of Enrollment on Nov 19th to verify that I did not want to enter the DNP program. After emailing back and forth a bit, I again decided that post-masters suits me better right now. On Nov29th, I was told that my application had been sent in for review and decisions would be out mid-February. I hope that means I still am being considered for the priority deadline.

Any post-master's or DNP plus post-master's applicants lurking here? I was told DNP faculty usually don't start contacting applicants until after the first of the year to set up phone interviews.

I tried replying to this and I think I did it wrong. ha

Are you pre-specialty? When did you submit?

I had my interview for CNM Prespecialty Masters on 11/20. Only 15 minutes seems so short, but my interviewer covered a lot of questions in that amount of time. She also told me we will receive decisions in mid-February.

Ahh, can't wait!! I'm wondering now if I should apply for a few more schools as back ups.

I applied pre-specialty CNM. I think my last recommendation was submitted November 8th and I just got my interview email yesterday :) Hope this helps!

May I ask when you submitted your application?

I submitted a few weeks before the deadline of 11/1. They let me know the application was considered in time for the "priority" deadline.

I have a friend who applied Psych and has not heard anything either. I don't think Vandy has sent invites for it yet.
