Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

That is SO weird, my Vandy interview felt way more laid back. During my Yale interview I almost asked "was I selected for this by accident??" haha

I applied to MGH IHP, Simmons, NEU, UMASS, Yale, Vandy, and Regis. Vandy and MGH are my first and second choices.

Weird! Both made me nervous, but in different ways.

Hi everyone! A little late to the thread here lol but I applied to the prespecialty PPC-NP program. I am nervous because Vandy is my first choice but I still have 3 more prereqs to complete before the fall. Does anyone know if not having finished your prereqs impacts your chances? And does anyone know if the PPC-NP program does interviews?

HI! I applied for WHNP, has anyone else heard anything that applied for this specialty? I think they misplaced one of my transcripts because they emailed me about it yesterday, then it changed to a green check mark today. I was not able to attend information sessions- does anyone know if this specialty interviews? I don't feel like my chances are that great because I got an alcohol possession ticket when I was 18, but I was hoping they would overlook that because it was 15 years ago and I did well in all of my prereqs....February seems like it's very far away!

Still haven't heard anything from psych either. Maybe they're not interviewing this year?

I just got off the phone with admissions...my application is under faculty review. I was told that Dr. Vanderhoef usually does not send interview request out until after the holiday (in Jan). May send them out earlier this year because she received a lot of applications. I was told to be on the look out for a email or phone call.

Does anyone know if everyone gets an interview for the CNM/FNP program or if just a select few?

Interviews only for CNM and then you find out later on whether you get CNM, FNP, or both! (From past experience in 2015)

hey all - I received an email on Monday to interview for the CNM (I applied CNM/FNP). They sent a doodle form to select a date and time but then no follow up confirmation that I have the slot I selected. Does anyone know if there will be a confirmation email, if I should check in with them, or if I should just assume I have the date and time I selected?

They sent me a follow up email the next morning.
