Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2018. Anyone else applying too? Please comment!

Thanks an2d and mma22664 for commiserating with me. I called them this morning and the woman I spoke with looked up my account and told me it was a mistake, and changed me to early priority since it was submitted by November 1st. Thank God! I truly hope the mistake hasn't already affected my chances of getting an earlier review. Still a little concerning for me, but what can you do.

Does anyone know if those "forward to faculty" emails go to everyone, or only if your application is forwarded to faculty from the admissions office? In other words, are all applications sent to faculty for review, or only applications that met minimum requirements, etc. I'm just curious. Also received an email and applied to pre-specialty FNP. Good luck everyone!! Lots of anxiety

The applicants that received the "sent to faculty for review" e-mail are the ones that submitted their applications by the Nov 1st priority deadline. These are the people that will be reviewed first for admission by the faculty so different groups of people will receive different e-mails. The other applicants that applied after Nov 1st received the "you will be admitted based on rolling admission" e-mail.

It looks like interview invitations are going out for the applicants that submitted their applications by the Nov 1st deadline. I just received my invitation to interview. Good luck to everyone.

I got it with everyone else (on December 1st I think)- which was kind of strange considering I had already gotten my interview invite by that time. I think they were a bit delayed.

Apologies, got a bit to excited and I am still a bit stunned to be perfectly honest, I should have been more clear. I applied to the dual CNM/FNP specialty and am interviewing with the NM faculty.

I mentioned before that historically Psych will be receiving their interview invitation later towards the end of Dec with the caveat that it is subject to change so I hope you receive your invite soon.
