Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2018. Anyone else applying too? Please comment!

Sooo I only just submitted my application for pediatric primary care (it's been a really crazy couple of months), am I like super screwed for chances of getting an interview since I'm so late to the party? Haha

Apologies, got a bit to excited and I am still a bit stunned to be perfectly honest, I should have been more clear. I applied to the dual CNM/FNP specialty and am interviewing with the NM faculty.

I mentioned before that historically Psych will be receiving their interview invitation later towards the end of Dec with the caveat that it is subject to change so I hope you receive your invite soon.

No problem Tango! Congratulations on getting to the interview step. I guess us Psych people will have to keep waiting.

I haven't been super impressed by Vanderbilt's Admissions folks. Anyone else?

Idk. I think in a previous post they talked about all that administration has going on. I really like their admissions folks and feel like they're invested in applicants in a way like they're invested in their actual students. Why do you feel that way? I feel like one of my reasons for wanting to go to Vandy includes the people I've come across.

Hi Everyone!

Just got done with my interview! It was honestly so much fun. I got to talk about what I was passionate about and my interviewer was incredibly nice. Just makes me fall in love with Vandy that much more.

My best piece of advice is be yourself, and know why you want to go into nursing.
