Vanderbilt MSN 2015

I am applying for the MSN program in '15, due in December. I was wondering if anyone knew how much weight the GRE holds, in regards to being competitive? I am a little nervous about my scores not being competitive. Any advice will help!

Apparently all my griping wasn't bad enough for them to throw my application out :cheeky: Still rooting for the rest of you. I have until Feb 12 to make a deposit, but I'm definitely waiting to hear back from others before making any decisions. Has anyone had any success getting an extension on the deposit deadline?

How much is the deposit? I haven't gotten that info yet.

$200, non-refundable, will take that amount out of your tuition when you're all enrolled and ready to face that. I'm guessing financial aid info comes in the mail, I haven't seen anything about that yet (email says I'd find that info "enclosed" with the letter).

Hey everyone! I was happy when I found this board, to know that I am not the only one obsessively calling, checking emails, and waiting for a phone call. I have applied for the NNP program, and I have my BSN already. I am hoping to hear something soon! I think we do interview, but am not 100% sure. Is anyone else going to open house in Feb?? I think me and my husband will be going!

I'll be going to Open House next month! The website says there will be a session for Admitted Fall 2015 students only. I am hoping to learn a lot about requirements, deadlines, financial aid, etc. in order to ensure a smooth transition into the school year.

I am hoping to know my admission decision by then! I did not meet the priority deadline, but have been told I was being sent for faculty review now. So I am hoping to hear good news soon! Where are you staying for the Open House? I am finding that a lot of the hotels near the school are either booked or cost a fortune. This also has me a little worried about paying for a hotel for those weeks we will have to be on campus...

Check airbnb. That's how I booked a room for my upcoming Yale interview (for $50+ less than the hotel they suggested) and I imagine I'll be using it for any school visits.
