Lol. Totally different type of needle. As a heavily tattooed person, I will always stick up for my tattooed peeps! :D

I never understood it until I actually got my tattoo. It's like comparing apples and oranges, not apples and apples.

Is it less painful than a shot or an IV for those who have tattoo's??

It's... different. Kind of like an annoying vibration. Although pain level can be affected by where you get the tattoo. Mine's on my ankle, which is reportedly one of the lesser painful spots. Definitely less pain than getting stuck multiple times for an IV in my opinion. But then, I'm a hard stick.

It's just totally different. Getting tattooed is really just on the surface, and feels more irritating than anything. Like a cat scratch on a sunburn, though bony areas (like right on the elbow) feel pretty sharp.

Getting a tattoo is exciting and gets your adrenaline going...getting stuck multiple times for blood draws makes you anxious and irritable especially when sick.

This year I plan on getting a tattoo and PTSD just to be part of the "in" crowd
