Whether you're in support of the COVID vaccine, against it, or on the fence please use this particular thread to cite credible, evidence-based sources to share with everyone so we can engage in a discussion that revolves around LEARNING.
I'll start:
The primary concerns I've shared with others have to do with how effective the vaccine is for those who have already been infected. I've reviewed studies and reports in that regard. There are medical professionals I've listened to that, in my personal opinion, don't offer a definitive answer.
Here are some links to 2 different, I'll start with just 2:

Yep.
The visuals of regret might convince some to vaccinate. But the reality is that, like the individuals in the video, many won't vaccinate unless they suffer personally. The suffering of others, like facts and evidence, is not really that compelling for them. Some of them think that the pandemic is overblown with fabricated numbers.

I was all wrapped up in "internet debate mode", throwing punches, ya know...then I read, "hey dude, your source really, really sucks". I go back and look and I'm like, "....oh..... Damn....." Yeah, it really did suck. Definitely a lesson for me to tone down the self confidence a little bit.
I give you a ton or credit for recognizing and admitting this and moving on. I work every day of my professional and personal life to be this way.

Are you disputing the demographics of the people who are intentionally unvaccinated? You might have missed that I didn't categorize then as educated versus uneducated...you did. I wonder why you chose that language.

In sure there's a poll out there but I'll answer with my own opinion
1.Fear and lack of trust
(What if the drug hurts me later and the government is lying vs what if COVID persists due to the unvaccinated)
2.Lack of information/ limited information offered
(Media gives information based on what gets viewers and not so much what is educational and informative)
3.People having contempt for each other, unable to rationally discuss their differences without getting emotional
(Narrow viewpoints from both extremes sniffling communication)
4. Conformity vs independence
Just to name a few

Why bother having cops and military?

Well, look at the states that are most overwhelmed with Covid. Alabama, Mississippi. Louisiana and Texas all rank in the bottom half of educational ranking, the first two being the lowest.
