Valencia College Spring 2016

Hello everyone,

I know it may be a little early but who will be applying to Valencia's nursing program for spring 2016? I will be submitting my application next week and I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone submitted their application already!

Are you starting the AVS nursing program as a medic?

No back in 2013 I started back in school and my plan was to go the EMS route and bridge into nursing. Well I did EMT and loved it and got certified then I got accepted into the medic program and during my first semester I found out I was pregnant. I tried to continue medic school for another semester but it was too hard being so far along pregnant. So I quit í ½í¸” And focused on my nursing prereqs and finally I finished and got accepted!

Ah ok I just graduated from the AVS program with a lot of medics so that's why I was wondering! The generic route is definitely the way to do it!

Yeah I was told by so many people that I made the right decision by just sticking with the generic route since my end goal is to be an ARNP. I cannot wait to start!

Is it Friday November 13th or Tuesday November 10th? I saw that you posted two different dates and I wanted to be sure lol.

So, I noticed VC is already accepting people for Summer 16. I was hoping I would get accepted for Spring :(

There is always the possibility to get bumped up if someone doesn't accept their offer
