   I'm going straight into surgical nursing straight from school (pre-op and PACU). I feel very fortunate and would never give up that opportunity because I'm "supposed" to do med-surg first.

   Every floor and management is different. Some are very accepting and some not so much. It really wasn't an issue for me and between LPN and then RN school I did many years of clinical at FH (I'm agnostic)

   Congrats everyone! I went through the rounds for this GN program but ultimately turned FH down and went with Orlando Health. I'm excited to get started in this new career and I wish you all the best as well!
