Valencia College Spring 2015

I just found out that I have been accepted into Valencia's Spring 2015 Nursing program!!! I heard from someone that it is possible to start a semester or two before your scheduled start date.....is that true? Also, can someone please tell me how much the uniforms (shirts) and other expenses are prior to the start of the program? I know you have to wear khaki pants...what about the sneakers? Is it all white or can it have some color added to it? What is the usual schedule for Nursing 1 and 2? Thank for any response you can provide! I can't wait to start! :yes:

Yeah so my overall grades are not up to that standard also for chemistry which chemistry do they accept because I have taken general chemistry and also chemistry for nursing

As of now, Chemistry is not a prerequisite for ASN at Valencia. You're gonna need to take Micro and Nutrition for sure. Check out their website for more details. Good luck to you!

This is a silly financial aid question but I really have to ask! Its my first time using FA and I'm aware that the fee deadline is tomorrow.....why hasnt FA paid for my tuition yet? Will it be paid tomorrow before 5pm?

Apply anyway. You will need nutrition with a lab though for consideration.

Congrats & welcome to everyone coming into the program. It's tough for sure but survivable. You'll learn so much in such a short time, its amazing. I can't wait to see you all on campus (in the lab! HA!)

If you are using financial aid you don't worry about the deadline, as long as you have enough financial aid to cover the full amount. once school starts, after a couple weeks, they give you what is left over after the tuition is paid. I think Valencia puts it on a debit card. UCF just direct deposits it into your bank account, I wish Valencia did the same.

@aknorri i know serveral people that are going to Osceola campus but dont think they are on here. I live closer to Osceola campus but will be going to West. Heres our FB page if you havent joined in already!! =)
