UW BSN program 2015

Published

Hey guys !

I'm applying and I'm really nervous, but excited to start my nursing program soon. Anyone else applying to UW?

The week of finals...yikes! I've been so busy studying that hopefully this week will go fast. Although, it's already Wednesday and I feel like Friday is taking forever to get here.

I don't have finals until the last week of April. I'm on spring break right now, so each day is grinding by slowly. Even work is kinda boring right now. The DNP and MSN students haven't recieved their letters yet and usually they get mailed a week before the BSN letters.

PS. Word on the street is that they are finalizing acceptance now! An applicant for the DNP program said the school emailed her back:

"4:09 pm by naenaeq, BSN

So I message for confirmation on how notification will occur. They will snail mail only. Also, they are finalizing acceptance now. Not sure what that means, but hopefully mail soon."

Not too long now, friends!

Imagining the committee going over our letters...... The anticipation is too real

I am currently at the PLU provost scholarship interview event and it's making me so excited to become a nursing student lol. I can't wait til UW responds!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, but I also applied to UW BSN 15 and have been waiting to hear back. Good luck to everyone!!

I was hoping to get something in the mail today, but alas, no luck. Hopefully next week...

Seattle University already sent out their final decisions! Some people got their letters yesterday, I still haven't gotten mine :/ the anticipation is killing me now..I should be hearing back from them tomorrow if not Monday!

I got mine from SU today and got accepted!! You'll get yours soon :)

@cdo0 congrats!!! I got my SU acceptance as well, is SU your first choice?

@mabdog_94 congrats to you too! If money was no factor, SU is definitely top of the list. However, we all know that UW triumphs SU in terms of affordability. If I get accepted into UW, I would be very excited, but torn between the type of experience I want out of a program, and money.

@cdo0, yes SU is very expensive but an awesome program! I had a chance to tour the campus and classrooms at the hospital and they gave a wonderful facility.

Definitely waiting to make any final choices until I see the numbers from financial aid and if I hear anything from UW.
