  1. @msd123 congrats! Do you live near UW or in Seattle? I was anticipating a letter today since I'm in Edmonds but maybe tomorrow it will come.
  2. Mine was a large thicker yellow envelope, be gentle opening it because the acceptance letter is right on the top then there is a red folder inside with details.
  3. Didn't mean to bother or annoy anyone... @cdo0, here's the link for the SU page if you want to talk further about their program: https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-student/seattle-university-bsn-963433-page2.html#post8411788
  4. I received mine but the online application status still says under review.
  5. @cdo0 thanks for letting me know. I know as a transfer there are those core module classes required in addition to the 2 year nursing program listed on their site. I thought it would be nice to get some finished in the summer vs. having a heavier course load throughout the year. Below is what is listed on their site for the additional required classes. [h=3]Core Module I Requirements[/h] UCOR 2100 Theological Exploration UCOR 2500 Philosophy of the Human Person UCOR 2920 Ethical Reasoning (Health Care Ethics)
  6. @ Rococo good luck with your interview at SPU!
  7. Congrats!!!! @lisamichelle13
  8. Ok sounds good. Thanks! Oh congrats!!!!! Enjoy the extended break since you won't have spring quarter :) lol Did you (or anyone else) know if SU offers courses in the summer for nursing? I know UW does but I was trying to look for SU and couldn't find anything.
  9. I'm new to it as well, I've never used FAFSA or any financial aid prior since I've attended a community college for my prereqs since graduating high school. I called SU in February regarding my financial aid status because for some reason there was a glitch in my online application on the SU transfer app and I was worried there may have been a glitch in other areas. I asked if there was a glitch in financial aid or anything but they said to address that upon getting an acceptance letter since they said things were still under review. I'm planning on calling the office later this week since my last final is on Wed to ask further.
  10. @cdo0, yes SU is very expensive but an awesome program! I had a chance to tour the campus and classrooms at the hospital and they gave a wonderful facility. Definitely waiting to make any final choices until I see the numbers from financial aid and if I hear anything from UW.
  11. @cdo0 congrats!!! I got my SU acceptance as well, is SU your first choice?
  12. @Rococo-There's still time don't worry :) I'm sending good luck and de-stress vibes your way!! What other schools did you apply to besides UW and SU?
  13. Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, but I also applied to UW BSN 15 and have been waiting to hear back. Good luck to everyone!!
  14. I'm in the same boat as you! I received eligibility for a scholarship that will knock off some tuition, but will have to wait until the financial aid office will let me know final numbers. Although SU has a great program the financial cost is daunting!!
  15. Thank you! I just discovered this site to check for updates among other schools. I live north of Seattle in Edmonds and yes it came by mail. Are you in the Seattle area? Sometimes mail can take 1-3 days even when it's in close proximity. I'm still waiting to hear back from UW to make any final choices, but I'm humbled to be accepted to SU.
