Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.
Thanks guys! I'm glad I'm not alone in this (not that I want y'all to be as freaked as me). That's actually why I wanted in the BACC2 program... it wasn't so much to be through quicker, but because they take into account that you've already got a degree in getting you financial aid. I would LOVE to just do school more than anything in the world. My parents won't co-sign a commercial loan for me as they're trying to retire this year, and my credit sucks due to my husband's poor health a few years back. *sigh* I know I'm griping wayyyy too much. I will definitely make it work somehow. I'll just whine until I figure it out.
You'll get in Ms Sealy!!! I can make a mean pot of ramen noodles and I can do amazing things with a 10lb bag of white rice :-). You are actually good to go on most stuff with your associates, as you should be eligible for the Pell grant. Once you are eligible for that, you're eligible for almost everything else. However, if you're ineligible for the Pell grant, everything else is off-limits too. TheRedOne and I basically can get 12,500 as a stafford loan per year. That's all.

theredone and toastebell most of us are wondering the same thing. i don't have a bs only an associates and i'm not sure how much i'll get in grants, scholarships and loans, but school is going to be my first priority and if work gets in the way i'll be right there with you and give it up.
i'll live in a rooming house or shelter if i have too. i'm sure we will pull together and come up with some creative ways to survive these 14/15 months together. i have a crock pot..i can throw some cabbage in it..that'll hold us for a week or so.
