Most clinicals are located in the Med Center i believe. I think they try to locate your clinicals as close as to your house as possible. I live on the borderline of sugarland and received an email asking if i wanted to be located in the Med Center/ Sugarland area and will try to best accommodate my needs. :) hope that helps.

I left my book at galveston and won't be back til sunday. It looks like it'll be a F-U-N sunday night ahead for me. lol! I didn't have any problems with blackboard.....I wonder if I'm doing anything wrong... lol

And sorry for my absence of this forum! I've been so busy getting all the stuff as am sure all you have! And the library has only 3 out of the 4 syllabi which come out to roughly 14 dollars. I have been told one of the syllabus is about 60 pages.

I accidentally dropped my name tag and i guess someone found it and put my name in HUGE BOLD LETTERS. How embarassing! i saw it when we just came back from lunch and just GASP. LOL.

that book list is just ridic!! i was looking the books up on that link we got through the email... ugh! guess i'll be ordering books online. many books, so much money spent... my wallet hurts, but it's all worth it! Merry christmas everyone!

i'm about to buy my steth on allheart.com which All_is_on recommended. My aunt who is a nurse suggested that i buy a littmann steth because its one of the best ones out there. The steth combines both diaphragm and bell into one chest piece. I'm a noob, and don't know if all steths are like this or if i should buy one that requires you to flip from diaphragm to bell. http://www.allheart.com/2200-16.html

omg goodness! i've been gone for a day or two and sooo many pages worth of post! exams on the first day of school? financial aid? packets? housing? PDAs and i still have an exam to study for monday! i'm SOOOO BEHIND!! after my exam on monday i need to move-it move-it! thank goodness i have you guys to keep me on track!

hahaha love the story ms sealy! yeah there is alot to be done before nursing we start school! so many things to do so little time! ugh, i wish we had a full month break but who am i to complain. i'm soo happy we all got in :)
