Hey guys just letting yall know I received a reply back about interview dates that I had sent back in September..(I know crazy they are just now reading it) that interviews are scheduled for nov.6 and if you are selected you will be emailed that week for invitation. So maybe we will hear something in 2 weeks!?? Maybe...lol

That is what I have been hearing and I really hope that we do.I really don't think they have a choice to push these dates any longer, because time is almost running out for more procrastination lol

pretty darn frustrated with utmb at this point. i can not believe it has taken them 3 months to decide on interviews when uthsc sent out there interview invites within the week of the app deadline!!!!! i shoould know whether or not i got on by november 15 and it sounds to me like i will know that before an interview ever happens. and also how can they give us such short notice...i hope i dont get one scheduled for the 6th cause i have to work!!!!!!!!!!! gotta pay my bills!!!!!!!!!!! im just sooooo over it...at this point i dont even know if iwanna go to school here....soooooo unorganized.....and from what i hear from students that came to my hospital for clinicals....it doesnt get much better once youre in the program either.....uuuuhggggg.

sorry for my ranting its just that this has become a bit ridiculous....get you **** together utmb!!!!!!!!!

would it be possible for you to call utmb and retract your application so that there would be one less person applying and a better chance for those of us who actually care about going to school there?!

OMG!!! Kweav did you really just say that? I am in total awe!!! I know we all express our frustrations but what the hey!! Some people just express it different I don't think that it means they don't want to goto UTMB anyless than you.

What an interesting first post...I agree jazzy..that wasn't very nice..I appreciated alana's honesty and understand her frustrations.

I'm not as frustrated as most, but I do understand and don't mind ppl expressing their disappointment as long as no one individual is being singled out and attacked.

i understand everyone's frustrations and have seen others comments and had nothing to say about them but this one was just a little out of hand. i'm not going to go back and forth defending myself or arguing with anyone so my apologies to those of you who were offended by my statement but i still feel that sometimes you need to put your big girl panties on and just deal with it.

Kweav, I'm sorry but you have to be one of the most rudest I have encountered on this site. Yeah people do have to work and can't wait around til the last minute to see if they got in. Some people have alot more going on in their lives. Have you ever heard that comment if you can't say nothing nice don't say nothing at all.

Hey, calm down guys no reason to get so antsy. Everyone express their frustration, but I have to say it is pretty weird they are taking soo long. I applied back in July and still waiting. I turned in my application for PVAMU on October 1st and got accepted October 15th. UTMB did have like 3 months and they are taking quite a while. I gave up waiting and am going to stick with PVAMU because if I turn it down there will be no guarantee I will get into UTMB.

We are all here to give advice and support each other in achieving our goal of attending nursing school. Good luck to everyone who applied and is interviewing. I wish you all the best. Lets keep it positive guys.
