Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.
jazzynurse2b the teacher has been assigned for the hprs patho class (****).
lindsaypaige i haven't taken the net, but from what i've read on other boards what is on the net depends on the school. some schools test for everything you named above, other schools only test math and reading comprehension. utmb doesn't require the net or any other preadmission nursing exams.
Look what I found under UTMB's FAQs
*All applications will be reviewed after the posted deadline.
*Invitations for applicant interviews will be sent by the School of Nursing via email. Interview sessions generally occur 4-6 weeks after the posted deadline.
*Admission letters will be sent from the School of Nursing via regular mail after the posted deadline.
hey ms sealy,
I am doing the same, I decided not to take patho because i signed up to be a substitute teacher. LOL. That is just to funny for me but I thought I'd try to make some extra cash and stash for school while I can. And besides I still am taking this comp course. I hope I hear something soon. I am still checking my spam like 10x a day.
Is anyone else taking pathophysiology with Mr.***** at San jacinto college online?
Also, I have news about the interviews.I called UTMB today, and I was told the the advisers haven't started looking at the applications yet; and if they have they just started. The woman told me the advisers are very busy with orientation,so we probably will not be hearing anything for another month or so.

OK awesome. I read the whole thread but it seemed like their interviews kept being pushed back so I thought maybe one of you had an update. Looks like I need to register for a BIOL course to satisfy the Patho requirement. The lady said any BIOL or CHEM class would work...thats good cuz San Jac isnt convenient for me. Thanks for the info
