Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.
Oh that's great! Yeah, when it comes to harder classes I try not to pay that much attention to the rating since I like harder teachers that can teach well for prenursing courses, and most people seek easier teachers.
Also, did you need to go to LSC to complete any registration stuff, like talk to a counselor or anything?I'm trying to avoid having to drive there,I hope I can just apply online, and mail my trasncript and be able to take the classes, without having to go there.
mau00 registration has changed a lot over the years, i'm not sure if you are required to go to campus for the first time. i took my first class in the 90's before all this new internet stuff evolved.
OK I got my E-Connect stuff straightened out. Will they be informing us of an interview via email or mail? Also, has anyone heard about when we should be looking for that?
Another thing that I see other chat rooms doing is posting their GPA's so we know what to compare ourselves to.
Science GPA- 4.0
Regular Pre-req GPA- 3.6 (should be higher once they receive my Summer school grades)
I also applied to UT-H SON but I dont know if my NET scores (reading) will grant me an interview. Has anyone else applied to other schools?
Can anyone tell me what they have heard about this program at UTMB? I have heard stuff about online classes. Where do they do the clinicals? Also, where is this program rated as far as prestige? Is it considered to be a great program?
Hi Emag,
Most of us have posted info about the school regrading interviews and our grades through out the thread. It should be somewhere around page 10 I believe. I have also head about online classes but we were not able to clarify if it was true. From what I heard UTMB is great program or else I wouldn't have applied. They are willing to help you succeed and have been really great with helping their students. I went to the info session in July and that pretty much sealed the deal for me :)
