Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

Confused now! So did everyone receive the changes for health assesment in your UTMB email? Are you going to read what it says to read in the orientation handout for that class or what it says to read in the email!? If you try to read both that is 6 long chapters! I'm just really not sure what is being asked of us for the first day of class.

Also for Patho. Pharm. the handout said to read Module 1... but the syllabus says to read 1&2??? Help! What are y'all going to do?

Ok- now that I have looked over it again. My take is that we are supposed to read chapters 4,5, and 6 for class on Tuesday and even though we are not having lab this coming week we are to read chapters 2,3 and 4 for our lab readings.

(I'm still confused about Patho./Pharm though)

Nevermind y'all. I keep going back and forth on what to do because we have three different sets of instructions. I am just going to read 2,3, and 11 in health assessment because that is what she wrote in the email. The syllabus doesn't say that we cover the interview and all the other information in the other chapters until next week. We shall see I guess!

Thanks! Just trying to consider options. How are the clinicals.. will they be in the medical center or in galveston?

Most clinicals are located in the Med Center i believe. I think they try to locate your clinicals as close as to your house as possible. I live on the borderline of sugarland and received an email asking if i wanted to be located in the Med Center/ Sugarland area and will try to best accommodate my needs. :) hope that helps.

I'm trying REALLY hard to read everything. At least maybe it will give me a little reprieve next week. So far I've done 1 and 15 in roles, 1-99 in pharm, and 2, 3, & 4 in Jarvis.

Oh my! I feel so much better. My Jarvis textbook table of contents says that ch 5 ends on 196... I thought it was a150 pg chapter. It's a typo!!!! Yay!

Yeah, It's pretty intense Jazzy and we haven't stepped foot in a classroom yet...toasterbell...you did a lot better than me on those readings..I tried several times to log into blackboard to see if there was some condensed version of our assignments, but kept getting kicked out all weekend.
