UTMB Spring 2010

Published

Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

Hey guys.Hope everyone got full and familes were tame for the holiday:)

I'm trying to decide if I should move somewhere between Galveston and the Med Center or carpool.

Didn't someone say they lived near me in the Willowbrook Mall area?

I'm going to live in league city so I'll be halfway between Galveston and Houston. I got an apartment at a place called broadstone walker commons. It's really nice and the price was similar to what I found in Galveston but the apt is much newer. I'll be in Houston the day before orientation, we should all meet then! I would love to have some familiar faces when we go to orientation! :)

That was me Ms. Sealy. But I have decided to move to Galveston so I will not be around to carpool. :)

Thanks everyone! I hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving!!! We definitely need to meet up soon, I'm excited to meet everyone. And I'm living in League City as well, right down the road from Broadstone in an apartment complex called the Haven at South Shore. It's REALLY nice and only 850 for a 2 bedroom with a washer and dryer. It's hard to beat. So whoever lives in the league city area, we should look into forming a study group.

Well dang! I live at the Anchorage off Marina Bay/2094, but I'm moving to Deer Park in 5 days.

I live in Deer Park right now! How ironic lol. Deer Park isn't but 15 minutes away from my new place so we could still study together.

Awesome! I'm in. I work at NASA, so Ill be there every day anyhow.

cjack thanks for clearing that up for me..I just couldn't remember who it was that lived near me...Oh well I guess I need to decide where I'm gonna move to and real soon. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

It's hard to decide which place is best. I pay $774 plus $30 for water for a 3 bedroom and was hoping I could find something around $700, but that might be hard to do between Galveston and the Med Center.

Wow! I just got my new 3-bedroom (no bills paid) for 999 a month, and that was steal. I don't think it'll be easy to find something in the same range around here without moving somewhere REALLY scuzzy, and that's coming from someone who isn't at ALL picky. However, I'll look around and see if I can find stuff. Got kids or pets? Do you need w/d hookups?

i was thinking the same thing toasterbell. i've been living here since january 1999 and when it comes to the yearly lease renewal i negotiate. that's how i've been able to keep my rent below market value. it's a nice complex and great neighborhood and i probably won't beat this price.

i have a 22-year-old daughter in tow and she has 3 cats and i have my own washer dryer, so hookups are a must. that's about it for our stats. all my other youngins have moved out.

OMG!!!!!!!!! Congratulations to everyone, I am so jealous that you all get to stay together. Seem like I am losing my chat buddies. I went to a meeting to meet some of my future students and was like OMG!!!! The students that attended told me to get close with GOD because that is all I was going to need to make it thru the 1st semester.

Jazzy I feel the same way...I feel like I lost my best friends with you and miss pink, but I'm glad I have the rest of our little group.

What did they mean "get right with God and do it now" (that sound like something we used to sing in church). Is it that bad Jazzy? Maybe you can still start with us or are they saying it's that bad for all schools. Oh man..It can't be that bad.
