UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

Im on the waitlist and I got the email too.

I called UTMB and they said to do it in case you get pulled off the waitlist. I'm not sure about those who have not received anything. Maybe everyone got it?

Go ahead and do the fingerprints. Because this is BON thing, once you get them done, you will be good for any nursing school (at least in Texas) going forward.

Did anyone else receive an email to do a background check and fingerprints? I find it really odd because I never received an interview or anything.

what are your stats and were you previously wait listed if you dont mind me asking because i also received a background check email

No I wasn't waitlisted before, I was actually rejected for Fall. My pre-req GPA is a 3.8, science is a 4.0, 84% on TEAS.

Hello guys!

I'm currently also applying for the summer 2019 term. Currently a TWU student at TWU-Denton and my stats are average. From what I've been reading, they place a lot of emphasis on things other than your gpa (e.g., your personal statement). That said, do you guys know how I can view my official GPA's that will be seen by the UTMB committee? I don't know if I should find that under MyStar or Nursing Cas. Thank you in advance!

Overall GPA (or any GPA and stats) is not shown in UTMB MyStar. However, in NursingCAS, once you submit your application and after it is verified, you will have a complete brake down of your GPA by semester, overall, science, non-science, etc.

utmb ferry road apartments are really good price but there is a current waitlist you can get on, Casa Cribe is another alternative you could check out, the apts are really close to utmb. Since your looking to live with roomates a 2 bed room apt might be open. When did you get your acceptance letter if you dont mind me asking.

I received my acceptance letter around mid June.

Regarding the UTMB Ferry apartments, only the waiting list for the fall 2018 term is available. How does that work? Will there be a spring 2019 term waiting list?
