UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

And I'm assuming the answer you got was a rejection.

In one of the previous pages of this forum, the coordinator emailed back on a question sent out. I don't believe they are completely done yet. I think they there will be another round of interviews that will probably be for the waitlist. I'm sure it's tough to deliberate on all of these applications. You'll get an answer at some point, don't worry.

Actually no. I was waitlisted, for fall. Then they offered me a spot for spring.

Also I was interviewed for admission for the fall cycle.. and ended up being waitlisted. Some people get an interview for the waitlist. Which is still good because that means they were interested in your application enough to give you an interview. Just apply again for the next semester and stay positive. Most people don't get in their first try anyways.

Yes I think they will be sending out interviews for waitlist soon, but interviews for admission are over.

so... based on what I'm seeing, I can assume I did not get accepted for Spring 2019.

I'm hoping that they pull some people off the waitlist. I was originally interviewed for admission in July but was waitlisted in August, it has been about 3 weeks since. It has been a very competitive semester, I believe.

Hi! I'm on the waitlist for Spring 2019 but have yet to hear anything back for Summer 2019. My guess is it won't be too long until we hear something back, maybe around 3-5 weeks since it's near the end for decisions for Spring. Best of luck to you!
