UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

When did you apply? Also when are the interview dates? Goodluck I wish you the best you got this!!!

I submitted my application around July 11th 2018. You worked 40 hours, and did all of the prerequisites and got a 4.0? That is awesome! I have two kiddos. Thank-you for the well wishes. Our stats were pretty similar. From what I understand, everything from this college comes in waves. I'm sure there will be plenty more emails discovered within the next few weeks for admissions interviews.

I literally set up my interview 10 minutes after I got the email. It is this Friday, right before open house.

I received my invitation as well at about 10 this morning! I chose the 26th of this month which I already regret considering it's the second to last date.

Hi y'all,

I applied for Summer 2019 admissions; however, I applied later in the game August 13th. My stats are 4.0 in both science and regular cumulative GPA with an overall 88 on the TEAS. I am. bit worried however that my late application will not allow me to gain admission but with working over 40 hours a week I had such as hard time completing everything and studying that I had to wait :( Do I still have a chance?

I think you have a great chance. For Spring, I submitted my application about 2-3 days before the deadline and got an interview. I am on the waitlist, but I interviewed for admission and I am waiting to hear back. I submitted my Summer 2019 application on the 15th and have not heard back yet. I think you are more than qualified and have the grades to show. Best of luck to you!!

Hi guys! I also just scheduled my interview for Summer 2019! It's next Wednesday afternoon. I'm hoping to attend open house this Friday as well, if I can. Congrats to those of you also receiving interviews! According to Nursing CAS I have a 3.69 cumulative GPA and a 3.75 science GPA. I think my overall pre-req GPA is about a 3.9. I got a 94.7 overall on the TEAS. I'm also applying to UTHealth for spring as well.

Congratulations to all of you who got interviews! May I ask when you all submitted your application? Due to some issues with my transcript and with NursingCAS, I didn't get to submit until the last day. My stats are a 3.9 overall, a 4.0 prereq, and a 94.7 on the TEAS, but I'm still really worried that because my application went in late, they won't get to look at my application. :unsure:

I submitted mine a few days before the deadline but I'd apparently entered in my transcript incorrectly so by the time I finished redoing it, I'm pretty sure it was the last day. Lol. And I just got an interview. So I don't think it matters as long as you got it in by the deadline. :)

If you have amazing stats they will sometimes accept you without an interview. And I also knew someone that submitted the day of the deadline and she was accepted in the first round.

I haven't heard back either. I'm not sure why so I called and they gave me the info for the person who had my application.
