UTMB Spring/Summer 2019

Hi I know it's a few months early, but have anyone started getting their application/essay ready to apply to UTMB for 2019? Lol I'm nervous looking at blogs from previous years. I'm also scared to take the TEAS. I plan on applying for Summer 2019.

I explained to the person who answered from the the student housing number that i was a prospective student for spring and thats how i signed up for it, she told me that there was already 30 people on there.

Has anyone heard anything back who's on the waitlist? I also know a couple of people who have not heard back at all, so it's a little surprising.

Hi guys I've been following this thread for a while. I haven't heard anything at all back from UTMB. When I contacted their admissions office, they said 3-5 weeks, that was more than a month ago. My MyStar account shows that my application is complete. I sent in everything before the deadline. I haven't received an official rejection or invite for interview yet, what's the deal?

Is there anyone else here who hasn't heard back?

When they say 3-5 weeks, you have to remember that it's from the deadline. It hasn't been four weeks yet so we still have a couple of weeks to hear back. I haven't heard anything yet either which hopefully, that's the case

From last year's forum, it looks like they sent out more interviews and such in about a week or two.

But for summer, it looks like they started around early October for last year. But Harvey may have slowed down processes.

I applied for Spring 2019, the deadline for which was April 30, 2018. The timeline on the UTMB website says i should have heard 16 weeks after the deadline, which by my count was August 31st. Other people have gotten interviews and acceptances. Why haven't I heard back.

They have pretty much accepted everyone for spring. Now they are just waiting to see if anyone declines their admission to admit ppl from the waitlist. You may get an email saying that you are on the waitlist. Just have to be patient. When I applied for fall I waited 4 1/2 months until I got an answer from the school

I find it so strange that some people have not heard back yet.

Yeah, I am one of them unfortunately. I'm hoping to at least be interviewed for the waitlist. I applied for summer as well so it's another waiting game. It is what it is, just takes time.

I am honestly shocked and a bit disappointed that UTMB didn't even notify me of my rejection or placement on waitlist. They could have at least told me so I could focus on other programs.

And I'm assuming the answer you got was a rejection.
