UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Still waiting for my invite :/ my stats are similar to yours. Congrats and best of luck to you though, spring is traditionally more forgiving and lenient than fall, from what I hear. So let's all just cross our fingers and hope for the best :)

I talked to someone at the school today and in general the person told me that they only interview really strong applicants that they want in the school. If I didn't get accepted after having an interview (like what happened in the Fall), they said it was likely a numbers game. They did say that admission into the Spring semester is less competitive because there are less applicants. So that's good news for all of us!

Don't worry you guys. There have been people that get accepted into the program that never had an interview and there have been people that do not get accepted even after an interview. Best of luck to everyone. :)

I did. I was scheduled for my interview before receiving this.

I just got the same email saying that it's verified. Still studying to retake the TEAS

Be patient. It's never recking- at least you don't have to retake the TEAS... I feel the pressure with a countdown of 20 days . Stay positive

There is plenty of hope for you. They do interviews in waves, this is just the first one (to my knowledge) and you have as good a chance as anyone! Stay positive!

I got that email too, and my friend text me saying he got a denial email. Let's not stress too much! I have not been scheduled for an interview either.
