UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Congrats to those who have received interview invites already! If I may ask to those of you who got the invites, when did you guys officially submit your NCAS application? I waited a week before deadline to officially submit and I haven't received an email regarding interviews :cry:

I did mine about a week before the deadline as well.

Hey everyone. I am new to this chat forum but have read through it. I have also applied for the Spring semester and I'm a little confused as to how they are calculating the gpa. Do they only calculate the pre-req classes only or everything? Does anybody know? If they do then my stats are pretty decent but I have not received anything via email about an interview. I know there is still time but I'm sure like everyone else I have been on edge haha.

Mitchito, no need to worry. I called about 3 hours ago and I was told they are still reviewing. I was told in two weeks time they will send more interview e mails.

I got an invite yesterday morning and I had sent in my application about 2 weeks before the May 31st deadline!

I don't mind! My nursingCAS gpa: 3.17, TEAS: 84 and science GPA about a 3.5.

Still waiting for my invite :/ my stats are similar to yours. Congrats and best of luck to you though, spring is traditionally more forgiving and lenient than fall, from what I hear. So let's all just cross our fingers and hope for the best :)
