UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

I was notified by email this morning. My interview is scheduled for Wednesday July 2nd at 10:00 am.

Hey guys! I'm new to this thread. I applied for Fall 2014 and didn't hear anything until I received my rejection letter (along with a rejection from UTH). I decided to apply again for Spring 2015 but I didn't really expect anything after the first rejection. Well, today I got an email for an interview and it is set for next Tuesday! I know an interview isn't a guarantee but it is certainly better than last time. So for those of you that don't get in this time, keep your hopes up and just try again!

My overall GPA is not great due to some bad decisions about 10 years ago but here are my stats:

Overall: 3.2

Science: 3.85

TEAS: 87%

I wonder why with such a stats you did not get an acceptance letter. I wish you the very best this time round. Do let us know how it will go

I received an invite this morning as well. I applied back in the Fall, had an interview and wasn't accepted.

Hopefully this time will be different!!

I don't know my stats. Haha I've been so confused because Nursing CAS low balled me, saying my culmulative GPA is a 3.14. My college says it's a 3.4. My TEAS score is a 93.3 (orginally scored an 84.7 and retook it last month since I wasn't accepted).

I'm carrying two failed classes from my past, that's why the GPA is so bad.

That's a little nerve wracking to think that you could get that far in the process and not get accepted.

Congrats to those who have received interview invites already! If I may ask to those of you who got the invites, when did you guys officially submit your NCAS application? I waited a week before deadline to officially submit and I haven't received an email regarding interviews :cry:
