Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.

Anyone taken it yet?

I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.

Hey Schmaltzey, I'm taking it tomorrow at 9 too. I'm freaking out and trying to cram from the study guide. I figure that today I'll study a bit from the book and then take the test at the end to be sure and to know what else i should go over.

Hope this helps... I emailed because I was worried that I have a great composite score BUT have one low section score.... this is exactly the email I received..."Since we do not have a base line set up as far as TEAS scoring, they will be reviewing each section as well as the composite score. Please do not worry about the low score that you received on one section. More than the TEAS testing, the SON will evaluate applications based on grade and merit.A low score on one secion will not eliminate you from the applicant pool."... hope this made all of you feel better! sure did me! Hey everyone! So I have written my 'letter' but I am unsure about it. Does anyone know from past applicants what NOT to put in it? I like my content and feeling behind it but I'm not sure....I am scared to submit it. Any suggestions?

I would submit that essay immediately. The due date is in 2 business days. Sometimes it's hard for the school to keep all your information together if you have not turned in an application. I would send that immediately and call and verify that your transcripts and teas scores have been received.

Is there anything specifically you're having difficulties with on the essay?

Oh! ok, I will submit it today then...since it is an online application I figured they receive it automatically...NO? Um well I put why I am applying to utmb, why I retook some courses, and why I want to become a nurse. I guess there is not one exact thing I am worried about, I am just scared to send it...Im guessing alot goes into their opinion of that letter.

That's pretty much all the things I put in the essay as well. I'm not sure how long it takes them to process the application but I would be worried about if they have received transcripts and teas test scores. There's also a signature page that you have to sign and mail to UTMB. You print this page out after you submit you application. However, it's been said on this site that the signature page does not have to be received before the deadline. I would call UTMB and see if they could tell you if your transcripts and teas test scores will be received even with a later application. 409-772-1215. I put the same things in my letter that you put into yours. I took it as an essay that was personal, so I didn't stress too much about it. I did however type it as if I was speaking directly to the admissions committee. Good Luck!!!

I submitted my application on Jan. 29th. I went to the campus this last Tuesday and was told the application takes about two weeks to process. Until they process the application they can not verify if they have all of your documents. I was told the only thing to worry about is transcripts, anything else will not hold you up if not received by the 15th.

Once before I had a transcript that was never received by a school, so I am super paraniod. The only thing I was told I could do is fax un-official transcripts to the school. (if anyone does this, make sure you call them or they will just be put in a pile, rather than be applied) Of course I do not have all of my unofficial ones, so I guess I am going to call today, fax what I have, and then hope for the best!

My friend, who is also applying, submitted her application 3 weeks ago and called today to see if they have received everything and they told her they don't know because her application hasn't processed yet. She's driving down to UTMB today with official copies of her transcripts to hand to admissions to ensure they get them before the deadline.

Even if they have not processed all of your stuff.. someone should be able to give you your e-connect log on so that you can see what they DO have.. I didn't get my letter utill 4 weeks after I put in my application, but was able to get someone to give me my log on so I didn't have to keep bugging them about what they had and had not received

Oh crap!!! Why does the application take so long to process?? So I guess just to make sure everything is received, I will FedEx an unofficial transcript from every school I have attended and fax copies as well. I still don't have my econnect information.
