Published

UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009

Who here is applying for it?

Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.

Anyone taken it yet?

I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.

Thanks!! Is the test really $50? On UTMB website it shows $30.

lol I payed $100

I was informed that we will be hearing from UTMB by early to mid April regarding interviews. It's getting really close.

I have applied to UTMB, on econnect it shows everything received. I have not taken the TEAS test yet and wondering if it's too late for FALL 2010. Does anyone know if I still have a chance?

If there are still available schedules on ATI you are not too late. I just applied to Texas A & M university at Corpus Christi. They don't require any entrance exams, the deadline is Feb 16th. U might wanna apply to have other options

I live in Houston and applied to take the test on the 11th...last night. There are still chances if you are in Houston. They have 2 test times for the 11th. Try the website.

Good luck to everyone. This process can be REALLY frustrating but it HAS been eye-opening. There is such a huge shortage on nurses but NOOOO shortage on the types of entrance tests required. I took the NET for UTHSC-H last semester...made it to the interview but didn't make the cut. The HESI was required for TWU and now the TEAS for UTMB. PV requires you to take THEIR NET test at their school only. With all of these tests and application fees I am sooo broke. I am optimistic though...something will fall through :yeah:!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your responses! I took the NET test last semester and passed the math but failed the reading portion. I called UTMB and they said they do not have a passing score as of yet. Since they accept the NET scores I am just going to submit that, hopefully they really won't use the scores to determine if you get in or not.

Do you mind if you can tell us your stats

Nursing Pre GPA

Science GPA

Overall GPA

and

Net SCORE?

Did you apply again for UTHSC-H for fall 2010?

Does anyone know FOR SURE are they JUST looking for a minimal composite scor on the TEAS or will there be a minimal composite score AND minimal section scores? I know UT houston makes you have a minimal composite and section score.

I was told that 72 was passing. They also had Spring 2010 take the TEAS to see how they scored and may compare their scores to ours. Right now I think it is anyones guess as to what they are going to base our scores on. Kind of scary not knowing.

The newest version (5) does not have any current data to determine scores just yet but, version (4) a 72 is passing. Sorry for the repeat of information, I just wanted to get it straight for everyone.

hey guys! So i am taking the TEAS tomorrow morning and i am really freaking out, i just did the practice tests in the back of study guide...not to good. I also bought the online test A....for those of you who have both and have already taken the TEAS...should I just start on the computer one or review more from book???

Also....I see that someone posted that a 72 is passing? Does anyone know if we have to pass EACH section w/ a 72 OR just an ALL OVER score of a 72? help!!!! its at 9am tom.
