UTMB FALL 2010 (University of Texas Medical Branch)

Published

UTMB Fall 2010 Application period starts tomorrow Nov. 15, 2009

Who here is applying for it?

Btw, there is the ATI TEAS entrance exam for FALL 2010.

Anyone taken it yet?

I can't seem to find the registration for it in the atitesting.com.

The cut off was the 15th.... Anyone hear how many have applied or heard ANYTHING?

I know the won't be even setting the minimum TEAS test score you had to make until the beginning of march so they won't be able to send out invitations 'till after. Also I think I read somewhere they send your invitation by email? Anyone else heard that?

Yeah, I read that on previous discussion boards. They said that some of their invitation letters were sent through email and ended up in their junk mail. So be one the look out. However, I'm sure it's going to be quite awhile :scrying:

Now we all get to play the fun waiting game!

Looks like they added another credential

NET or TEAS

They also gave your official test score under "Student Records">>>"Test Scores"

Reading Mathematics Science English Composite

I am worried about my Science Score...its pretty low

Anyone willing to share their sub-scores and composite?

TEAS scores- reading 100, math 90, science 94, english 97, composite 96

TEAS scores- reading 100, math 90, science 94, english 97, composite 96

Wow! That's a VERY good score. What did you use to study? I have to retake my test next week!

Thanks,

Melissa

Congratulations on the EXCELLENT scores:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:.

Hopefully we will meet in the fall :D

I used the ATI book and online test, the Kaplan book, the NET book and any online prep test I could find (there are links to several on this site). I studied for several hours a day for about 10 days. I had taken chemistry and nutrition right before I took the test and I think that helped my score a lot. I didn't do nearly as well on the NET science part (67).

Good luck Melissa!

Hope to see you in the Fall too Missmoe.

Does anyone know if our GPA's are displayed anywhere on econnect?

Veganmom: Did you think the TEAS test was easier than the NET?

Congrats on the great scores!!!!:yeah:

I thought that the math section of the TEAS was harder but the rest was easier. It made a huge difference to be able to take it online too. When taking the NET on paper, I finished each section early and became anxious while waiting for the next section to start. Taking the TEAS online allowed me to move on to the next section as soon as I finished the last, and I finished in an hour and a half instead of the 5 hours or so that it took to take the NET.
