  1. Congrats on those who got accepted and good luck to those who are still awaiting. Like another person said before Ferry Rd apartments are really cheap for those looking to save money. They are not the greatest in the world but I really do not mind with how low of a price I pay. Internet is really cheap especially if one of the companies is running a deal. For those of you who will be coming to UTMB I will see you at your orientation! :)
  2. Hello everybody! Like Kelly I also started this Fall. I was right there with you all on the anticipating and wondering. It is a little frustrating but interviews will be here before you know it. I would stay on top of them with all you application stuff. I never had any problems with my application being lost or any errors in the past. Good luck to you all and let me know if you all have any questions. I will do my best to answer them and I do not get on here too much.
  3. Congrats! They must be trying to fill in spots now .... I have heard of serval folks saying they were going to decline for their first choice school. I think that is good they are still opening the door for others. That is one thing I have learned from the process is not to give up. If you dont make it the first time .... try again. New doors always open. Good luck Michelle on your interview!
  4. Maybe like something similar to the UTMB BSN class of 2011 on FB?
  5. LindsayPaige - I found this link for you that tells you how much it was for fall 2009 through spring 2010: http://www.utmb.edu/enrollmentservices/about/Tuition_Fees.html This doesn't however really tell you a true number unless you know what to add up.
  6. That is good that they offer insurance then, becuase cobra is very expensive like you said. They packet did not have scholarship information in it.
  7. Does anyone know if UTMB will offer health insurance like other colleges if you are a full time student?
  8. that sounds like a good idea. mine too expires next year so i need to renew it to expire 2012. i live in missouri city so i am not too far from you, but i am more than willing to travel. let me know so i dont schedule a class.
  9. I just got my acceptance packet in the mail as well. I left work early when I heard some were getting them. When I pulled up the mail truck was outside and I stalked him. I am so happy this finally came true for me. This is my second time to apply so dont ever give up if this is your dream. Good luck to those who are still waiting and congrats on those who got their packets!
  10. So I wonder if UTMB is sticking by what they said and sending out letters today. I guess we still have to wait a few days to get the snail mail. It is a good thing though if everybody gets a letter so folks can start making arrangements. Good luck everyone!
  11. I have an associates degree but not yet a bachelors.
  12. The wait is already killing me! A week is long enough for me, but three weeks is like an eternity!
  13. LindsayPaige -- I know that most every school offers health insurance to students who go full time. I know its pretty affordable also. I would the same would be for UTMB SON. I currently have health insurance with my company but once I quit the only thing I could get would be cobra. Cobra is way too expensive for me!
