The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.
Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.
Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.
Good luck to all of us! :)

Try not to lose hope. I have a friend in the summer cohort, which starts like next week, and she said they are still pulling people off the waitlist for admission.

Try to stay positive...I was talking to a friend that has been admitted Spring 2017 and was waitlisted. She said she had to do the whole fingerprint process and and got pulled 3 weeks before classes started and her friend that was also waitlisted didn’t get pulled but got conditional acceptance for the next semester. Also UTMB is usually the first one to say decisions for Fall and I’m sure there’s people waiting for UT health’s or other schools decisions and when that happens people might switch schools and leave open a spot ?
For anyone in the upcoming FALL 2019 class of nursing at UTMB, if you’re planning on living in Ferry Roads and looking for a 3 bedroom apartment, me and my roommate are looking for another roomie! We’re both guys, but wouldn’t mind a girl living with us! Currently looking for anyone, we can talk it through and see if our personalities match and what not! We’re both Filipino, and both 21!
