UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

I received both emails as well. I received the identoGo email at about 9am then recently received the UTMB email. I'm a waitlisted applicant...

I agree! some people got accepted after some of us had been waitlisted

I called and they basically just told me that you have to complete the finger printing regardless of your status, in case you are pulled off the waitlist. They also said (for those still waiting on hearing back) they should notify everyone by the end of next week.

looking through past forums it looks like they require all the waitlisted applicants to do the finger printing process.

is identogo only fingerprinting and backround check? I really thought this was where you did everything including the drug test. According to a friend, drug testing is done at another time along with a second background check? (separate cost from identogo)

Hi! i know i'm super late, but has anyone figured out where they're living for the semester? someone told me living in houses is the best option?

Just got my acceptance email! I'm so emotionally scarred from waiting but it was worth it! Congrats to everybody that got in, and to the people that haven't had good news, don't lose hope, there's plenty of universities that would be happy to have y'all!
