UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

I also got accepted into UTH and have accepted admission, but now that UTMB has accepted me, I'm waiting to see who offers me the most money honestly. Times be tough out here. ?

What semester did you apply for at UTHealth? I applied for their bsn fall program and don’t know what to do because they’re not sending out acceptance notification til before June 1st

I don't think anyone has interviewed yet. I was accepted and did not interview, so I believe these should all just be the early admissions.

I’m thinking they want everyone who’s currently accepted to accept or decline by April 12 so they can send out interview or more acceptance emails depending on how many people said no

Hey guys! Congrats to those that were accepted! I wanted to repost my earlier post - now that some of you know you’ll be relocating to Galveston and might need an idea about housing.

I'm currently a third semester nursing student at UTMB. Let me know if you have any questions at all! I'm happy to help!

I will be looking for someone to take over my lease when I graduate this summer. I live close to campus in a private guest home. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. Laundry units included! Depending on the weather, sometimes I bike to campus which takes about 5 minutes and sometimes I drive which takes a total of 2 minutes! Rent is extremely affordable - it doesn't even compare to the cost of apartments in the area or even student housing! And not to mention it's a house; not an apartment! (which in my opinion is always better!)

Let me know if anyone might be interested and I can let you know more! Or even if you're not interested in housing but have questions about anything else, feel free to ask!

Also, as far as the Facebook page goes, they create one for you guys. Typically the students create a GroupMe and chats/gets to know everyone on there.

I applied and got accepted for summer 2019 admission. I'm going to the new student admission day tomorrow, so I'm hoping to learn a little bit more about the school. I toured UTMB last year and it was great. Both schools are awesome, honestly.
