UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

Overall GPA 3.82

Science GPA 4.0

Overall TEAS 88%

Reading Score:87.2%

Math Score:96.9%

Science Score:80.9%

English Score:87.5%

Some hospital and respite care provider experience from several years ago.

And idk if it matters, but someone had asked earlier, so I'll include that my last name starts with R

Yes I don't mind! For GPA I got a 3.8 for both pre-reqs and science. TEAS I got an 83. I think what really got me in was my personal statement which I tried my best to work and focus on. I didn't have any healthcare experience but I wrote about my life experiences, study habits, and good/bad traits about myself on how I would factor that in the healthcare setting. And also of course, why I wanted to be a nurse.

congratulations to everyone who got accepted today! I'm still waiting but I don't think my stats are strong enough :( Did anyone interview or was today the round of students who got in without an interview?

Hey everyone I received an email about admittance but I’m gonna have to turn it down because I got into UTHealth for the summer! So my spot will be open to someone else, congrats to everyone who got in and good luck ??

I'm confused, are all these just early, immediate acceptances? And then do they send out interviews afterwards for applicants they are on the fence about?

I just got accepted! It was updated on mystar & I received an email as well!

Overall GPA 3.71; Science GPA 3.35

Overall TEAS 82.7; Math 87.5, Reading 85.1, English 91.7, Science 72.3 oof

Graduating from A&M w/Bachelor of Science in Health + hospital volunteering, medical mission trip & work experience

Mine just changed to admitted as well !

Overall Gpa : 3.88

Science Gpa: 4

Overall TEAS: 82. I made in the low 70’s for Reading and English, as English is not my first language, but got a 93.6 on science.

No healthcare experience. This semester I’ll graduate with my associate of science. Applied with about 5 classes in progress, but all science classes done.
