UTMB FALL 2015

Hello everyone! I think it's finally time for someone to start a fall thread so here it goes. I am applying to UTHSC and UTMB for fall semester. I gave my teas test today and idk if that score is good enough or not. My GPA is 4.0 and teas individual score is 81. How did everyone else do in their test?

Hi! I finally decided to post something and ask questions and what not! I just found out I'm accepted to fall semester It's been a long wait!! I checked my mystar page and there was that glamourous green check mark I been waiting for!! For those accepted already did you guys get an email saying what we need to do next? Like imminization, CPR and all that good stuff? I only got a status change on mystar page and no email from the school about what to do next..

@hiyou did you receive an invite for an interview before? & also on my star where exactly can we check the status? Btw congrats on the acceptance!!!

I did get an email from UTMB with a guide for next steps (I think before my status even changed). A few days later, I received a packet in the mail with more information, checklist for immunizations, steps for background check, and timing for all. The checklist and information is nicely detailed with due dates and links to more information.

@daniela_baez Thank you! I had my interview in February but it was for summer 2015 which I found that I was waitlisted within two weeks from my interview, so I didn't have an interview for fall just for summer. For status check, I went to campus solutions--> student center

@TX2015 I just paid my deposit, so hopefully I hear something back from them soon!

When I spoke with the head of the nursing department last week she informed me that they will be conducting interviews through the end of April. So everyone still has time and some hope if they haven't heard anything yet!!
