Have faith everyone I know it's hard but I'm sure they have not finished with their acceptances.. I had my interview March 17th and got an acceptance email April 20th! After being rejected from UThealth in the medical center, I'm extremely happy that I will be attending UTMB in the fall. Goodluck everyone!! :)

I also got accepted!! I'm so excited!!! :)

@hiyou did you receive an invite for an interview before? & also on my star where exactly can we check the status? Btw congrats on the acceptance!!!

@haley: when did you find out about utmb? I applied there as well and I haven't heard back..if you don't mind telling me your scores that would be appreciated.

I got denied as well.. That is so saddening... There is obviously nothing I can retake I only have 2 Bs on my pre reqs for psychology and government.. Other than that all As.. I retook my hesi already since I wanted to improve it from the first time because I wasn't satisfied.. I don't think I can apply again since my application will look the Same..

@bnmatlock how do you know you didn't get in?? Did you get an email?

@jess92 wow yes those are great stats!! Do you know why you got denied for summer?? I don't understand why they wouldn't want you... My stats are 3.89 overall gpa 4.0 science gpa 810 critical thinking and 90 overall on hesi and I haven't heard anything back.. No email.. No status change..

@jillgoodson12 I haven't heard anything at all either.. It sucks so bad.. Idk what that means..

Thank you guys for your kind words!! I guess I will keep on waiting & checking! And @marz don't give up! If it's something you are passionate about keep trying.. I know it does suck but not everybody gets it in their first try.. Look at me I have no clue what's going on with my application.

@ihueng: yes it just sucks not knowing if I'm accepted or waitlisted or denied.. But I also applied to UTMB so hopefully I hear back from them soon .. Thank you for your encouraging words!!

@heyitsme_3 so do you know if they accepted new people but they decided to send it through mail instead of email?

I retook my hesi twice and scored an overall 90 on it and 810 on critical thinking but I guess it's not good enough.. Idk if it's because I took it twice or something.. But please keep us updated if the status on my uthealth changed please.. Did people get a denied email already?
