UTMB Fall 2012

HI! I am applying for the traditional BSN program at UTMB that starts Fall 2012. I am taking my TEAS this friday and I wanted to know if anyone else here is applying for the same semester. Hopefully there are others so I don't have to be nervous alone!! :D

For those of you who have interviewed what did you wear? I'm assuming professional attire is different than business casual?

The school (Dean) is very big on professional dress, in fact, we were recently told that jeans were no longer allowed in class.

For guys: go with slacks and dress shirt at minimum (tie would be appropriate) A suit isn't over-dressed at all.

For Ladies: Slacks and blouse is fine. If you do wear a dress, keep the length appropriate and no sleeveless unless you have a jacket or cardigan with it. I wore dress slacks, blouse and cardigan with heels. Keep makeup and jewerly in tasteful.

This is essentially a job interview, so be sure to dress and act the part!!

So if you guys can't wear jeans to class anymore then what DO you wear?

We can wear dress pants/khakis with collared shirts or pressed scrubs.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! My mystar has changed to being admitted to!!!! I accepted of course! I am soooo excited I hope that this is real!!
