Hi everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread for those who are applying to UTMB for Fall 2011. There are some really great (and long!) threads out there for Spring 2011 and earlier...but as I'm sure y'all know, the application process can change from cycle to cycle, plus it's just nice to have a new thread for us. :) So feel free to post questions, comments, or anything related to applications!
I'm applying as a second-degree student to UTMB, UTHSC, TWU (Houston), UT Arlington and A&M, plus maybe the new Texas State program. Whew! I keep hearing great things about UTMB so that might be my #1....
A question to start us off: so we can now use either the centralized NursingCAS application, or the application through UTMB, right? What are you all going to do? I'm thinking of just doing UTMB's direct application....if you do NursingCAS, I think you'll have to do a supplemental UTMB application+fee anyway, so you might as well just do it all once...thoughts?
Mine shows still shows complete, and only two things left on my "to do" list. I have read in one of the other threads that they have offered some admissisons to the BAAC 2 program in the past. That is what I am hopping for also, but I will take what I can get.
Hello everyone! I haven't been checking this thread in a while due to all my midterms. But my application is also shown as incomplete due to the fact that I am still in the process of taking classes right now and haven't sent in my official transcript. One of the women there emailed me saying that it's okay for it to be shown as incomplete and that it won't affect anything in the process of admission. Hope this helps?
Their system is driving me crazy. All along it has said complete. Today I checked just-for-fun and it still says application completed, but now TEAS is showing up on my to-do list with a status of initiated. I wish time would travel a bit faster this month so it can put me at ease...
Right now I've got 62 credit hours and am currently taking Chem 1411, HECO 1322, and HIST 1302 so by the end of this semester I'll have 72 credit hours. All I need is 1 elective science, which I'll take over the summer... Being 76 credits. My GPA is 3.68. TEAS I got a low B. Some scores were in the 90s, some I didn't do so hot. I didn't study on it as much as I should have, because I had previously taken the HESI for UTHSC and it was a breeze. Got an A on the HESI. I found the TEAS much harder than the HESI.

Does anyone still have their application incomplete? mine showed complete 2 weeks ago. and now it changed to incomplete.
