Hi everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread for those who are applying to UTMB for Fall 2011. There are some really great (and long!) threads out there for Spring 2011 and earlier...but as I'm sure y'all know, the application process can change from cycle to cycle, plus it's just nice to have a new thread for us. :) So feel free to post questions, comments, or anything related to applications!
I'm applying as a second-degree student to UTMB, UTHSC, TWU (Houston), UT Arlington and A&M, plus maybe the new Texas State program. Whew! I keep hearing great things about UTMB so that might be my #1....
A question to start us off: so we can now use either the centralized NursingCAS application, or the application through UTMB, right? What are you all going to do? I'm thinking of just doing UTMB's direct application....if you do NursingCAS, I think you'll have to do a supplemental UTMB application+fee anyway, so you might as well just do it all once...thoughts?

sooo, the end of february is like, now and march is right around the corner - so it's close!!
does anyone if they will send out a "sorry, you suck and we're not interested letter??" or is it just silence and you only hear back if they are interested?
Going on hints from the Fall 2010 thread...some applicants got their denial letter as early as March 7th. So I give them a in atleast informing applicants in a timely manner a "yes" or a "no" instead of making everybody wait till the very end. I think they also accepted applicants as they interviewed so some knew if they were accepted or denied before all were interviewed. Confusing? yes. Unfair? maybe. But atleast they make up their mind quickly.

i do not know how soon things will be rolling along. looking at the rate at which the items on my "to do list" are dropping off. they just took my teas test off the to do list last week. i took that in dec. i remeber one post stating that he was accepted before the interviews.
he that waits upon fortune, is never sure of a dinner.
