UTMB Accelerated BSN Summer 2013

The application opened for this program just opened the other day, and I wanted to see if I could reach out to anyone else applying!

I've submitted my application, and took the TEAS V Test this morning!

I graduated Texas A&M with a Biology Degree this year and during completion of this degree I realized Nursing is where I want to be! Hope to hear from others!

I am so happy to let you know that I got accepted in UTHSCSA!!... I guess whether I am accepted or not in UTMB, it is going to be okay. Good Luck to you all!

Hi all,

Quick question - where do we send transcripts after turning in an application? I applied by the original Nov 15 deadline, but still had 2 classes in progress. Now that they're done, I need to get that transcript in, and I can't figure out if I send it to NursingCAS or directly to UTMB.

I believe you send it to NursingCas because they are the ones that review the transcript for UTMB. But when in doubt, you can always send to both. But I believe its NursingCas that handles transcripts.

Does anyone know when we will start hearing back from the school since the deadline is today?! I emailed the lady but never got a response to that particular question! Also, on the above comment: you can email admissions if you don't have time to get the transcript approved by NursingCAS in order for it to be sent! I had to do that on one of my classes.

Hi everyone,

Today is my first time as a member here. I also applied for UTMB Bacc2 Summer 2013. I completed my application since November and also received my MyStar login in November. I have been waiting ever since. I emailed the school and was told that I should hear something by February.

Thanks so much. Does anyone have the address handy for where to send transcripts directly? I emailed the admissions counselor earlier this week and haven't heard back. Trying to send it electronically only brings up a designation for graduate admissions.

You can't send transcripts directly unless you have been accepted and they requested for it. All transcripts for application must be submitted through NursingCAS.

I absolutely hate waiting! My application has been in since the first deadline so I feel like it's been forever! I haven't heard anything back from them yet. TAMU Class of 2013 as well? (noticed the username) Good luck to everyone! :)
