Thanks so much for all the advice! Is there anyone who has a Mac? The computer guidelines indicate they aren't necessarily compatible. I've been looking into an inexpensive PC, but obviously would prefer to not have to get a new computer if possible. One more question - are we all in class together/at the same time? And there is only 1 professor that teaches each course? Thank you!

I received an acceptance email yesterday, but I have already accepted admission at UTHSC-H. That will open up a spot for anyone who might end up on a wait list. I did notice that they want you to have all your immunizations taken care of by March 1? If so, that's insanity. Hopefully for those admitted it's just a typo, as the email said they need your yay/nay response by March 11.

I emailed them yesterday asking if we had to send in a hard copy of something confirming our acceptance, as I never got an email about acceptance, only one telling me my admissions status had changed. I received a very nice (and quick!) reply telling me that they are in the process of mailing out acceptance packets explaining all admission procedures, and to please be patient and ignore the due dates on MyUTH. Hope that will put some of y'all at ease, as it did for me!

Since it's a public school, wouldn't the tuition be the same as other TX schools? UTHSC - H has the breakdown at about $4,000 per semester (so $16,000 for the entire program) for all tuition and related expenses, NOT including any living expenses. As others have said, you can live as frugally or extravagantly as you wish, and pay accordingly.

I interviewed at UTMB about 2 weeks ago, but haven't heard anything yet. Fortunately, UTHSC - H is my first choice, and I unexpectedly heard from them last week. I've already accepted UTHSC, but I was kind of surprised i hadn't heard anything yet from UTMB.

Has anyone else that was admitted (and accepted their admission) online not yet received anything in the mail?

Thanks so much. Does anyone have the address handy for where to send transcripts directly? I emailed the admissions counselor earlier this week and haven't heard back. Trying to send it electronically only brings up a designation for graduate admissions.

Hi all, Quick question - where do we send transcripts after turning in an application? I applied by the original Nov 15 deadline, but still had 2 classes in progress. Now that they're done, I need to get that transcript in, and I can't figure out if I send it to NursingCAS or directly to UTMB. Thanks for any help.
