UTHSCSA Spring 2012

I know it's a little early, as applications are due until July 7, 2011, but I'm excited already and want to hear from others applying for the Spring 2012 semester. Anyone submit their application yet or in the process of submitting?

Ha I see now how a person could get confused... Kudos to her for being so optimistic, if that is the case. I feel for her though when she gets the sup. app. and realizes there is still one more step. I'd personally be embarrassed.

Hello everyone! I am new to posting and am in the same boat as all of you, hence being under the UTHSCSA 2012 Spring Applicants...I had not realized such a thread existed as I am somewhat new to allnurses too. I hope to jump in the conversations as well. Hopefully the supplemental application will be going out soon. For Fall 2011, essays were done as part of the original application process and acceptance/waitlist/denial letters went out exactly two weeks from the TEAS cut off. Let's hope the same timeline will occur with the SA's.

I havnt either. :/ still anxiously waiting! I figured they would have the supp app out by now. Hopefully by the end of this week..

Yeah, UTHSCSA likes to send emails on Fridays...I hope they send something soon...I'll post as soon as I hear something.

I must say the wait is nerve-wrecking. Our first e-mail said early August then our next e-mail said as soon as they complete them which I was hoping was by the last day of August but we are now officially in September! I think last year's Spring applicants knew if they were in or not by September 7th. I hope we hear something soon so my mind can at least be at ease. I find myself checking my e-mail frequently on my phone in hopes of finding one from them.

This is my venting for today. Must say I'm still excited and can't wait to hear something!

Yoursocurious, I am right there with ya! I feel the same. I have so many things pending...need to know if I should act on plan B, C, D, etc...hang in there...maybe we'll find out tomorrow.

Alrighty folks, I called UTHSCSA today...was told supplemental applications are going out this week. I haven't received mine as of yet, but was told it is on it's way, SO keep an eye out!

Thank you for letting us know.... I've been wanting to call up there but I keep stopping myself lol. All this waiting is LITERALLY making me crazyyyy!!! well I sure hope they send them out this week. I'm not sure I can wait any longer

emilaine, if we don't receive something tomorrow, it has to be Friday...I just wonder what their turn around time will be once they receive our info. I need to know before Oct 10th! I am due to start Plan "B" if Plan "A" (UTHSCSA) falls through...UGH!!!

Yeah I just really want to find out soon so I can start planning everything if I get in! This is actually my only plan though..... lol I'm putting all my eggs in one basket so I'm really hoping I get in! I just really like this school and I can't see myself going anywhere else but here
