I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

Keep your hopes up guys, and keep checking your statuses. I didn't receive an email, just a status update on myuth that I had been accepted. Here are my stats: No previous degrees, and I did receive a transcript evaluation.
3.64 overall GPA,
3.81 Nursing prerequisites GPA,
3.5 Science GPA,
87 Hesi score.
870 Hesi CT

Hello everyone!! I recently checked my admissions status and I have been accepted!
This is what it looks like for me:
Here are my stats:
Nursing Prereq GPA: 3.9
Prereq science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.6
HESI: 92
Additional Info: I have a BS in Biology
I know the wait is making everyone anxious! For those of you who did not receive any admission updates, I want to let you know that there is still hope! After reading that a lot of people have been accepted since the 12th and seeing that there was no update for me, I almost assumed I was waitlisted or declined. However, that wasn't the case!! Keep your hopes high and good luck to all of you that haven't received an update yet. :)
So I just got an email saying a decision was made on my application and to check myUTH...but doesn't say for which one, so I'm assuming it's in regards to my summer'16 rejection. Would be nice if it was for my fall application and myUTH is just being slow lol! Probably won't know anything on fall until tomorrow I guess.
