I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

Congrats to everyone that's been accepted, that is truly exciting! Only news I have to share is that for the first time since accessing myuth my admissions status changed today from "incomplete" to "complete" with a cute little green circle. Made my heart skip a beat for a split second seeing that green until my brain could compute it was not the "accepted" check. Good luck to everyone today that's still in limbo!
@ValerieRN TWU is an excellent school! I'll be at TWU too. Haven't heard back yet from UT, but I just have a gut feeling I won't get in. We are so lucky to get to go to an awesome school and in one of the top medical centers in the world. To everyone else, congrats! Enjoy your time before we have no life! And to anyone who did not get in anywhere YET, go apply to more than one school!
