I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

Also hoping for news soon! Last year's fall group found out April 7th, I think, and the year before March 26 or so? ( I was stalking the old threads [emoji102] the other night) lol
Same! I noticed that too! When I look at the old threads it calms my nerves but they just start right back up again, even if I don't get in just want this waiting period to be over so I can start planning taking the teas and other things í ½í¹‚
This is my second time applying, here and to 1 other school. UTHSC is my dream and like many others, my #1 choice, but if I don't get in I do have a backup! & I'll be ecstatic to go to school there too! So yea, definetely a great idea to take TEAS if things don't go as planned the first time around. Hoping we all get in to our first choice! Maybe this is the week we will know about UT!
Were almost down to 2 weeks and I'm trying SO hard not to continuously look at myUTH. I even have a countdown on my phone down to midnight on the 15th.

I didn't sign up for an information meeting, but they may have saved my email from the last session I went to.
I haven't gotten an evaluation either, I left a message a week ago for someone who deals with admissions/evaluations, but never got a callback. I may try in the morning.
Edit: They did update my to-do list and removed the TSI
Hahahaha!! I think we all feel the same way as each day passes with no news. I know I can hardly stand it!
@lakemitc - pretty sure they just have my info from previous info sessions I have attended and are sending out the info for any new ones they schedule.
I've also been trying to contact UT in regards to a course I've taken, but was not applied correctly on my transcript evaluation. No one has returned my calls or emails as of yet and it's been over a week...
