I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

About two weeks ago I received a letter and my heart started beating so hard. I opened it and it was my evaluation lol this waiting is driving me crazy!
Btw, did y'all apply to any other schools? I only applied to UTH so all my hopes are with this school.
I only applied to UT too this go round. If I don't get in for fall I'm going to take my TEAS and then also apply to TWU, UTMB, along with UTHSC for Spring. This is my #1 choice though.
I also only applied to UTHSC as well. I couldn't meet some of the requirements for other schools at the time of their deadlines and I didn't take the TEAS either. @PureMichiganGirl I would do the exact same thing as you if I am not accepted. UTHSC would still be my number one choice.
MaeMonaeCPT I was going to apply to pv as well but the whole transfer-only current students can apply confused me. How long is their program?
Their program is 5 semesters. I don't really care for it being that long because I don't think the program is year round. So that's like 2.5 years if I'm right. I have a friend who attended the PV's program last year so I'll ask her and see what she says.
I just tried to log in, and it's doing the same thing. The MYUTH page won't even load..I hope it's because they're overwhelmed trying to change people statuses and we'll get acceptance emails on monday
Yea same here. It's happened before though, and I'll try again a few days later and it's fine?
Also hoping for news soon! Last year's fall group found out April 7th, I think, and the year before March 26 or so? ( I was stalking the old threads [emoji102] the other night) lol
