I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

Haha that's all we can do with 900 applicants but I remember that I read on one of these threads that it would wind up being only like 500 complete apps that they'd review
Hopefully we hear something back soon, because like I said I got accepted for the wrong program and I recieved my acceptance letter on 2/12 and the notifications were estimated to come out in mid March. & even if your application says incomplete it changes to a green check mark and says enrolled/accepted once accepted but when I recieved my acceptance letter they said it'll take a few days for it to update in myUTHportal and once it shows up in myUTH portal you only have 10 days to accept it
Super anxious over here as well!! Every time my phone dings with a new email I race to check it hoping it's UT. They sent me an email the other week and my heart about stopped.... then I realized it was just an invite to another info session!
Lol I understand your pain lol they sent me to acceptance letters for the same program!!!! I almost died both times lol I had to read both of them carefully. But if it makes you fee better you should be looking for an email from Tamika R Tyler-Smith
Lol it's okay. I almost had a heart attack too when I first saw them. Lol I'll keep y'all updated if I get one I will post it same day! Within minutes!!!!
