I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

I received my evaluation late yesterday. I was so excited to open it. I was happy to see that all of my classes were marked down correctly. I am sure many more people will be getting theirs soon.
I checked on previous threads and some started March 26/27ish so in like a week or two. Also does anyone know if it's year round like I noticed its 15 months. If we were to be accepted is it including summer?
You mean an evaluation? I called a couple weeks ago regarding the evaluation. They said they would pass the message along. As far as transcripts go, I went to my schools administration building to see that they sent my transcripts in front of me. Then I asked for the exact copy they sent to make sure everything was correct. I hope that helps.
I haven't received anything. But then again I never requested one because I thought they were sent out automatically. Lol at this point I figure it's no point in me requesting one because it's so close to the date. And if I requested one judging by others who did I'd get it all the in May lol
To Lakemitc & Refinnej6. I called about 2 weeks ago for my transcript eval and stressed that I was concerned that if I didn't receive one and they had my info wrong I may not be considered. It took a few tries but I finally had talked to someone who was super patient and told me over the phone that all my info was in the system. To ease my nerves I asked if he could look and see that I only need one more class to complete. He said everything was good to go. So maybe try and call them and find out just for peace of mind. At that point I felt good even if I didn't receive an evaluation.
