I have seen various threads for previous applicants that applied to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I was not able to find a thread for UTHSC Fall 2016 applicants so I decided to start one. If a thread already exists, I am sorry. I will also be applying to TWU-Houston and UTMB. I know the process is stressful, so I will try to make it easier. I will be attending the May 22 info session at UT and the May 28 one at TWU. I will be sure to update any information discussed in the sessions for those who are not able to attend. If there are any previous applicants, or current and previous students, I would appreciate if you could join and share your experience in the school as well as your application process.

I know this is such a stressful time, especially for those with classes to complete. I'm still finishing up chemistry and im not sure if I'll make it through this class. We will get through this however. We may not get the results we want but I know we have all worked very hard and that is a celebration in itself.
I need to call then, because I'm taking classes but it said it could say "incomplete" until I was finished. I would be so upset if my application isn't going to be considered! Does yours still say no TSI and transcript have been received?
When I had called before the deadline (as well as after the deadline for extra clarification and peace of mind), the lady said it will say "Incomplete" if I have classes in progress and will not change until I send in a final official transcript, but that I was fine and had done everything correctly.
That's what I was told, glad you heard it too. Hopefully they'll send out acceptances on Friday in hopes they'll avoid all our calls during the spring break :)
I am currently finishing up my last two classes and I was also told the status would remain as "Incomplete" until I sent a finalized transcript, but that all was good and not to worry. Also, I finally received my transcript evaluation; found it in the mail this am!! Going to have to contact them because they didn't transfer my American Govt course, but I'm hoping that will be something relatively easy to solve. Hope we all start hearing some news soon... the suspense is killing me!!
I also still have TSI on my to do list, although it's no longer on my summer application to do list and the transcript eval they sent me a month ago says TSI requirement met. I called several times, before and after the deadline, and left voicemails but no one ever returned my calls so I gave up. I'm hoping they will notice when they review our applications.
The official date for notification is April 15th, but in some past years forums applicants started getting notified of acceptance during the last week of March.
